Today, I spent time with my oldest to buy her books for first semester of college. After that, I diagnosed and fixed an issue with my dust collection system. So I got started much later than expected. But I drilled all the shelf pin holes in boards that needed them.
It starts by marking the exact center of the board and carefully drilling the first hole on each side of the board. Then the jig allows me to quickly drill a series of holes in succession. I only had to shift the jig once at each end of a row, in order to drill the last two holes at each end.
It only took about an hour and a half and I was drilling the last holes.
With the shelf pin holes drilled, it’s time to move to sanding.
